Hockessin Athletic Club

"Yesterday afternoon, over a dozen volunteers pitched in to install our annual Veteran’s Day flag display outside the club. After a rough night of rain and wind, our team rallied again this morning to restore the display. Staff and members alike stepped in to gather each tag, with our Front Desk team carefully re-writing every name and dedication by hand. Our grounds team made rounds to re-attach each new tag, ensuring this powerful tribute remained intact. For us, HAC Salutes is more than a tradition - it’s a heartfelt gesture of gratitude for the brave individuals who have served and continue to serve our country. Seeing the quick, meticulous work of our community coming together to bring the display back to 100% has instilled in us as much pride as the display itself. This Veteran’s Day, our awe and appreciation is overflowing. So far, we have sold 1,125 flags and raised $16,700 during this year’s campaign. "Today my wife and I had a truly memorable experience. By chance a few days ago I called Delaware Camera to come to our home and troubleshoot why my 5 camera surveillance system stopped working. Jennifer the receptionist explained to me in a soft and courteous voice that they usually service commercial accounts, but she would talk to the boss and see if they could help us. To my good fortune the owner of the Co., a gentleman names "ART" came to the phone and in a most comforting manner told me he would be happy to come out and resolve my issue, but he was going out of town and would not be returning until Thursday, which was a few days away. But he could send one of his techs if we needed help sooner. So I agreed to wait for him to return. Just as promised, at 9:00 am on Thursday "ART" arrived and I am truly glad I chose to wait, because when "ART" arrived I met one of the most affable, good natured, people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. After introductions, "ART" went right to work, and I kid you not, within 5 minutes of inspecting the system he had diagnosed and repaired the malfunction, rebooted and adjusted the system and had the whole system up and running. Not only is he thoroughly knowledgeable about surveillance systems, he has a good nature, friendly, easy going personality that kept my wife and I smiling through the entire experience. He took the time to answer all our questions and showed us how to operate the system in ways we never knew possible. Words cannot express our satisfaction with "ART", personally and professionally. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him and his Co. to anyone needing residential or commercial surveillance system repairs or maintenance. Thank you "ART' and "JENNIFER" for a wonderful experience start to finish. If it is possible I would give Delaware Cameras, a rating of 6 on a scale of 0-5."
